Jig

Jig assembled nicely. The chipboard screws and large diameter washers pull the parts of the jig together firmly. This and triangular brackets force the jig square. Its built from 16mm MDF and is very sturdy. The frames on the jig are very useful to measure off. An insert also locates the centreboard case. This ensures it goes in on centreline, the correct distance forward and parallel to the centreline. I can measure off centreboard case frame on the jig to ensure the top is in the right spot. Works well. Carbon panels are to be held into position with hot glue.

Thanks to Vanessa for help assembling the jig.
