Anyone seen one of these before?
It's called an Assassin.
Somehow it managed to use a keyboard and left me a comment.
Its website is here:
http://assassinmoth.blogspot.com/It'll be interesting to know if that mast post goes into the hull - otherwise he will find out what happend to
Stress Less the first time we rigged it.
Looks like a Chinchillazilla with the fush deck and all...is the chair included in the $6800 USD?
ReplyDeleteLove the launching trolley. I'm sure it is included.
ReplyDeleteone step above those laser training turn tables that also simulates the moth's instability.
ReplyDeletedon't hail norkla, he hords praise in puppies.
mmm, puppies, they're delicious
ReplyDeleteLooked at it some more and I am liking it. They've put a compression strut infront of the mast stump now so shouldn't have any issues there.
ReplyDeleteWe have upgraded the trolley too...now floating bean bags..
ReplyDeletesweet...innovation is still strong in the moth class!
ReplyDeleteWhat are your plans for foils? Off-the-shelf ones or your own design and build?
ReplyDeleteWe have full tooling built for our own foils(they're slick).
ReplyDeleteWe were going to buy Bladerider then Mk2 foils, but the foils nearly cost more than our boat! I'm also not convinced they're that fast, I guess we will know when we start testing against our Bladerider shortly.
Cool. Looking forward to seeing them. Are you going to offer them without a hull also? I may be interested in the future.
ReplyDeleteWill you be putting contact details on your website?
Assassinator@assassinmoth.com
ReplyDeleteContact is on trademe link. Our website will go live when we get sailing pics. (which will be next week hopefully, just got swamped with paying wk for the rest of ths week, so assassin will have a slow week unfortunatly)
I was amazed to see 11 comments on my post - but TALK ABOUT MY BLOOG!!!
ReplyDeleteGo back to your latte sipping and blooging, we're talking boats.
