ReplyDeleteWell that was a dull report, you forgot to mention the sleep deprivation, the carnage (both during racing and during partying), the envious looks over our breakfast Sunday morning (some of the best after rum breakfast ever).
ReplyDeleteDespite not getting into any trouble ourselves (I was ded), the raft-up we were in was a bit of a mess Sunday morning. Apart from being woken up with the glass on glass thumping of a loose pickle-fork (cat) on our bow, the attempted off-loading then clean-up of a serious home-brew accident (consumed prior to accident ofcourse), were memorable moments.
The loss of a 49er rig from an i550 also sticks out, but apparently they drop if you look at them funny.
It's a pity the porn staysail wasn't more visible! What sailmakers get up to when fired up on rum with some spare time, sail tape and dirty mags...
